That’s pretty close to what was happening on mine, I’ve got a post here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/38-update-now-all-dashboard-pages-blank?replies=13
There are some ideas to try in there so might be worth reading.
Yeah, I saw your post but I have nothing, no menus at all, it’s really just white so I didn’t continue reading on your post but I guess I’ll give it a new try then.

@nishajl, if you have the same problems then all you need to do is follow the support on this thread. The same support given to the original poster can be applied directly to you because the problem is “the same”.
@guldarmband, can you rename your plugins folder from “plugins” to “plugins-old” for now?
@ AndreNevins same problem meaning my entire site is blank. (internal and external) – so I’m not seeing any error messages – just a completely blank site. Is the renaming etc.. in this thread:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/38-update-now-all-dashboard-pages-blank?replies=13
of theme files and plugin files still the right approach? It does not seem to have resolved the issue for that user.
Thank you.
I do have FTP access soon, just need too get the new log in sent to my mail… I’ll try renaming it as soon as I can, thank you π

@nishajl, sorry you really need to stick to your own topics to discuss the issues you face.
Just in case anyone is having the same problem (blank website after upgrade to 3.8, no access to dashboard), I managed to fix it by:
1. renaming “wp-content/plugins” to “plugins-old”
– this meant I could access my dashboard but with no plugins
2. creating a new folder called “plugins” in the same directory
3. re-installing any plugins as necessary
Thanks @andrew Nevins for your help. Good luck @guldarmband too!
I’ve finally ftp access. Andrew, should I follow the steps nishajl wrote?
Do I really need to reinstall all plugins or can I just move them one by one to the new plugin folder by ftp and if I get the same problem I just reinstall the one that caused it?
Just move them one-by-one to the new plugins folder.
Thank you all for your help! My site works now! π Merry Christmas!
