doesn't update tweets

this had the promise of being a great minimalist twitter feed. the process of making your own twitter application through dev.twitter before you set up isn’t bad, but the plug-in just won’t take the codes, it’s buttons sometimes disappear when authorizing the account and on the nth time, maybe it will take. i’ve had this same setup problem on 3 sites across 2 hosting providers.

once you painstakingly get it live tweets won’t update unless you go back to the plug-in and manually reset it. maybe it’s a problem with my hosting provider, but that doesn’t explain why when I changed over to the ‘Simple Twitter Tweets’ http://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-twitter-tweets/ which uses the same OAuth process, it authorizes on the first try and updates tweets perfectly.
