• Currently, the asides-defined template applies to designated posts on the homepage only – it is possible to have this apply also to formating of these posts on the Archives and Category view pages?

  • simillibus,

Currently no, only frontpage is hardcoded in AsideShop but I will add an option in the future.

    Thanks!

I’m glad someone else has thought of this, I would like to +1 this request if it helps bump it up the priority list cos it’s a pretty big one for me 🙂 Thank you for the great plugin!

    vicomtesse,

Thanks for the feedback! Will be done as soon as I have some spare time from the university. I hope it won’t take much time.

    Guys,

Check out the development version of AsideShop (can be found here), it has the features you need – options to choose the views where templates ought to be parsed, namely, Front Page, Categories, Tags, Dates, Author.

Just need your thoughts. Works pretty good for me.

    Thanks maijs!

I just installed the dev version. Time from disappointment that the template didn’t apply to archives, to finding and installing the new dev version: 7 minutes!

This new development makes this plugin invaluable. I’ll continue my comment on the “ideas” thread.

    Brad, simillibus,

If you encounter any troubles, let me know. Otherwise I will release it as 1.0.4.
