    Hey David,

    One of the problems is that your website’s theme overlaps with our template. We would advise to change the theme on your website.

    Regarding the color, please edit inc/yop_poll_model.php and on line 3213, replace

    if ( 'widget' == $location )
    $template_id = $poll_options['widget_template'];
    else

    with

    /*if ( 'widget' == $location )
    $template_id = $poll_options['widget_template'];
    else  */

    Please let us know if you need more help.

    Best wishes,

    YOP Team

    Thanks for this guidance. However, I’m not sure where to find the script you are referencing.

    Also, will this affect other color elements on my page or will it only enable the YOP widget to appear in Red?

    Also, is there any way for me to preview Red v1 vs v2 vs v3?

    Thanks,

    David

    Hi David,

    We have released the 4.8 version of our plugin. You will have to select a widget template when you add or edit your poll

    Regarding your last question, we are sorry but at the moment you can not preview the templates. The only way to see a template is by using it.

    Hey Yop,

    I upgraded to 4.9 but don’t see the new preview feature. I went into templates and clicked on one but it still just shows the code. How do I do the preview.

    Hi vannuysd,

    You can preview the template when you edit your poll.

    Hello,

    I noted that I cannot change the poll template for a widget. The “Widget Template” gives me the option to change to a different template. However, when I do so and save the settings, it still continues to go back to the “White” template and will not show the selected template on the widget or in the settings.

    Is this an issue you are aware of and are addressing, or is there something I can do to solve it. I don’t think it is related to the theme – I am using Atahualpha – as the settings in Yop Poll keep reverting over and over again to the white template for the widget.

    Hi Andy,

    Have you followed the instructions we provided for David 3 weeks ago (to edit inc/yop_poll_model.php and modify the code)?

    Those instructions were valid only for our previous version. If you installed the 4.9 version then everything should work properly without making those changes.

    Regards,

    YOP Team

    No, I did not follow any instructions mentioned above. And I do have version 4.9 installed. I continue to only get the “white” template. no other templates. Problem still exists. For reference, my Theme is Atahualpa.

    Any other suggestions?
