Restrict access to sub-sites based on user role

    Basically I have a few custom user roles on my wordpress site (I am using User Role Editor plugin) and I would like to be able to restrict the sites that can be navigated to by users of certain roles. For example if I am a manager I need to be able to access a site called employee records, but if I am an employee I should not have access to this sub-site. Is this possible, and are there plugins able to preform this task?
