Hello. I’m having some issues with the blockquote in my theme.

    http://twisted-solutions.co.uk/wp_test/

I’m trying to build a theme, and when testing in Internet Explorer, for some reason everything AFTER the blockquote seems to go wonky. I’ve never experienced this before.

I did testing, and if I take the blockquote out everything goes back to normal. I’ve tryed playing around with CSS padding / margins etc, and the only thing that works is taking the blockquote out completely.

Can anyone spot what the problem is? Any help will be wonderful! Thank you.

It appears to work OK in Firefox, so I assume that IE is your problem, with the text after the block quote shifting left. This might be an old bug that was thought dead. I did a little searching and found this ancient text. Possibly you could get rid of the bottom padding from the blockquote style, just to see what happens?

Also, not sure if it matters here, IE doesn’t support the hover pseudo class on anything but a lnk.

Yeah, I already knew about the pseudo class thing, I just added it on for those with firefox!

Yes IE is my problem – i’ll read through the ‘ancient text’ now and see if it helps. Thank you.

Haha, once I took the styling off the blockquote everything works…

Odd… Thank you for the fix. 😀

You never know what you’ll get with IE
