    Hello,
why do you want to copy these files to the theme folder?

Are you looking for better way of customization? so that modified files will not be overwritten after further updates, right?

If yes – just create new files in same folders with ‘-custom’ postfix at the end of files names. For example, new css custom frontend file will have such name ‘frontend-custom.css’, so it will be included after native css file.
The same method you may use with any templates.
