   Hi,

   Is there something going on with this forum? I've had problems with it whole day. I can't log in with IE only Mozilla, I cannot edit my posts and when I try to reply to my post I get "This topic has been closed" -message even though my topic is not closed (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/171230?replies=0)

   Your posts were getting trapped by the Akismet filtering. When that happens, you just have to hang loose until a moderator has a chance to review the akismet queue and un-spam 'em.

   Strange - I'm the opposite way around! Just changed to IE as Firefox wouldn't let me log in. No failures, just entered my user/pass and the board acted like I hadn't put them in.

   Bizarre.

   I had that same issue in FireFox earlier today IainPurdie.. I was able to fix it by deleting the Wordpress.org cookie and logging in again.

   Urk. Now I'm being told that the topic I started has been closed when I try to add a reply to it - only it's not marked anywhere as *being* closed.

   I'm replying as I can't edit it - when I attempt to do so, I'm just taken back to the Forum menu.

   Weird.

   i was having problems logging in yesterday, it didnt say wrong username or password or anything, it just did nothing, page was refreshed and i wasnt logged in. but i quit firefox and tried again, worked fine. i had to do the same thing on my ipod touch last night. wouldnt log me in until i quit out of safari and tried again.
