Integration with Quick Cache

    Dear Community

    I have a question regarding integrating custom modules with quick cache.
    I noticed that php functions inside theme files are still called, even if quick cache is enabled.

    What do I have to do in my theme so the theme files are not processed if cache is enabled?

    Or, is there a variable I can call in my plugins to determine if the page is delivered from cache or not?

    As I am running quite performance expensive processes (related stories and similar),
    I would love to have them not called when the page is delivered from cache.
