• Hello,
I am having trouble getting two of my main menu items to link to their pages. They are currently just “dead” menu items.

    Thanks in advance!

Do you have a link to the site?

I am trying to have About us and Nutrition linked. Thanks!

I think it’s assumed that the sub-menu items are the main content of the main item hence that goes mo where. The dead link to Nutrition makes sense.

Add another menu item named ‘Nutrition’ using ‘Links’ instead of Pages. Put any url into it, add it to your primary menu (the one we are talking about), save that primary menu, then remove the url you put into the menu item ‘Nutrition’ using ‘Links.’ Make the actual Nutrition page, MOD page, and recipe Blog sub items of that new fake menu item.

    There’s probably a smarter way

There is no issue, this is done by design. The Getting Started, About us, Nutrition and Resources all act the same. This is because, (as far as I can tell) your themes navigation appears to be based on the navigation design of Bootstrap.

Where all parent menu items that contain sub menus (drop downs) will no longer be a link, instead they will be an anchor to activate the sub menu.

Is there any way to change it so that it does link? The way from enthusiasm did not work

Did you see this Snippet? A lot of comments and reading at the end of it.

Hmm that didn’t seem to work. As soon as I put in the php part it made my site go white 🙁

Where did you put the php? Without me assuming anything, did you do it in a child theme?

I have a child theme but I do no know how to set up the php file
