Uploaded photos rotation

Hi,

The plugin is awesome, but there’s a little problem with mobile users: when users upload photos to buddypress via iPad/iPhone/etc. Sometimes the pictures are not rotated correctly because the plugin doesn’t read the exif data.

There’s a tutorial how to fix it with buddypress media. But I can’t get it work with activity plus:

Has someone resolved this? All help and hints are more than welcome.

Hi,

Thanks for the replies. Jack Kitterhing: I noticed that the rotation is working when I’m uploading from iPad (iOS 7.0), but when I’m trying to upload photos from my iPhone (iOS 7.0) the result is the same as I have described above.

Thanks for the additional information, that must be why it worked for me, I only have an iPad running iOS 7.0 to test 🙂
