Hm, my background was fine last night. Now it’s dark grey (from an earlier choice I made?).

I can’t change it back to white. I disabled and re-enabled the Dynamic Styles.

This happened after I tried to create a Child Theme. I deleted the Child Theme because I was having trouble changing the look to match what I did in the Parent Theme. Now the background color is stuck in dark grey.

    Thanks for your help!

  • Any link to the site? I could inspect with Firebug and quickly see where that color is coming from.

Did you do a FTP-overwrite of the older version by any chance? That background color there is coming from dynamic.css, which needs to be deleted as it’s no longer used. In /wp-content/themes/hueman/dynamic.css Since you are using 1.1.9 it’s supposed to be gone.

Oh! I wonder if when I updated from my local drive, I overwrote it by accident.

thank you for your help!! I’m going to reinstall the update, how about that? Will that get rid of the dynamic.css? Everything in the theme looks like after the update, so I didn’t notice the change.

I can’t update it again. I’ll go into Dreamweaver and delete the Dynamic.CSS file you mentioned.

If you have FTP-access the easiest would be to just go there and delete the CSS file. Otherwise a clean re-install would work by deleting and then re-uploading the zip.

Remember to backup and custom code if you do the delete thing. Your admin panel settings should be saved.

    Alx, THANK YOU!

    That worked. Totally my error.

Thank you again, for your prompt support and friendliness. Two reasons why I switched over to your theme and tell people why I love it so much (besides it being beautiful).

    THANK YOU!!!
