    Hi,

Im using WP-O-Matic to import an rss feed from a flickr image pool into my blog – but the images come in at a size that’s too small and I want them to fit the max width of my content column in my blog

Is it possible to tell wp-o-matic to import them at a different size, and if so, how?

I tried with the Imax width plugin, but this doesn’t seem to work either..

    thanks

  • If you edit the campaign and go to the rewrite tab enter _m.jpg in the origin field and .jpg in the rewrite field. This will change the size of the image being pulled in. Unfortunately, I haven’t figured out how to rewrite it so that the article doesn’t use height="180" width="240" in the img tag. I’ve tried to put height="180" width="240" in the origin and height="350" width="500" in the rewrite and vice-versa for portrait images, but it doesn’t seem to replace the height and width.

as long as your photos are constrained to the right ratio so that the the original is height="180" and width="240 or height="240" width="180" you can do it with a total of 5 rewrites. One for the _m.jpg -> .jpg and one for each possible height and width width=”240″ -> width=”500″ etc.
