Wordfence 3.8.8 with WP 3.6.1 broke Boutique theme

I have a site using n Elegant Themes’s Boutique theme that was working great after I upgraded it to 3.6.1 and upgraded the theme. After that I installed Wordfence and it broke the theme slider. Even after uninstalling Wordfence and deleting it, the slider was still messed up, so I tried the install over again FOUR times, thinking I must have done something wrong – same result every time.

The slider is supposed to display only one category of post, but it’s displaying posts of all categories. How this relates to Wordfence I don’t know but I don’t recommend using it with an Elegant Themes WordPress theme. It works fine on several different Woo themes.

I’d like to avoid having to install the theme all over again to get rid of the problem Wordfence left behind somewhere. Has anyone else had this experience and found a solution?
