  • Hi Frezik,

I’m not Greg but I know about Meta Slider – have you set your slideshow size in Meta Slider itself to 1343×401? That will ensure Meta Slider uses the full size original file.

If you’ve set Vantage to ‘Stretch’ the slideshow on the homepage, and your browser width is more than 1343px, then you’ll lose some quality because the image is being scaled up.

    Tom.

    Hi Tom,
    thx for your advice.
I think the problem will be elsewhere. Please go to my theme http://www.aloehubnuti.cz…there i have 2 sliders. The first of them is quite sharp, but then i made the same size slide where i only chenged two pictures and whole slider is fuzzy.

Maybe if you see a concrete example, you could find a problem.

    Thx a lot Tom

    Hi Jaromir,

It looks like the slideshow size is set to 500px wide. Can you go to the slideshow in Meta Slider and set the size to 1343 x 401?

    Regards,
    Tom.

    Yeeees,that´it…now it´s a correcty.
    Thanks Tom 🙂

    You’re welcome 🙂

Thanks for the the tip Tom, much appreciated.

I am having the same issue but I’m pretty sure I have all the sizes set the same. I uploaded them at full size and they looked blurry so then I used photoshop’s “save for web” dialog and saved them at exactly 918×322, since I figured out that that is the size of the space when it is at full width. I also made sure to set the size of the slides at 918×322 in the options. But it still looks just as bad. When I inspect the element, it says that the “natural size” is 550×193.

Is it compressing them? What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help!

    This helped my fuzzy sight.
    Thank you!
