Nice

Plugin half way works, but I do not recommend. Support is very lacking with generic answers from developer. He closes tickets before without assisting people. Look for something better available. I do not recommend this plugin.

Hi KYbunnies,
I’m not sure I understand your complaint. If you look at our official support forum, we usually answer to our users’ request in a matter of hours. Please let us know how we can help, we really hope to get a 5 star review for our support!
I have submitted a request for help and you told me you could not help!
Could you please post a link to that request?
NO! I posted about two months ago asking for help and YOU informed me that you could not help. Now you want to help. Sorry your time has passed. You refused the first time what make this time any more important?
Okay, no problem. No need to be grumpy 😉 I found your request, which was for one of our add-ons, not for WP SlimStat. We DIDN’T SAY we didn’t want to help, we said that your provider seems to be incompatible with the Dashboard Widgets. In that case, what kind of help can we offer? 😉
Anyway, I hope Santa will still put you on his ‘nice’ list.
Best,
CamuI am not grumpy. You refused to help and closed the ticket with out allowing me to respond. As I stated the plugin was working before an upgrade. It is not my host. It is the plugin. If it worked before an upgrade but not after it is the plugin not the host. Simple as that. You just refuse to assist.
If it was the plugin, don’t you think other people would come to the forum like on the night before Black Friday, and line up to complain about the issue? 😉
Again, as an exception to our rule (we provide paid support for cases like this where evidently it’s not an issue affecting the plugin itself), I’m offering to help and look into the issue, FREE OF CHARGE. But you said it’s too late. So I’m not sure what you want me to do.
My initial comment was only to clarify that our support is top-notch and that what you had stated (regarding WP SlimStat, not the add-on) was just unfair. We strive to keep our customers happy, because we believe that support is the key to stand out from the crowd.
Regards,
CamuYour support is not worth a load of cow manure that I can pick for free. As I stated before and you can check you closed the ticket before allowing me to respond. After I responded you never acknowledged my response. Want to help feel free, but it is not my host, it is the plugin. It worked before upgrading and after upgrading it stopped working.
*Looks at review, drinks more coffee*
Could you please post a link to that request?
You mean this support request from a month ago?

You think that reply was a refusal…?
Your support is not worth a load of cow manure that I can pick for free.
That’s colorful but could you please be more polite? These are 100% volunteer forums and like the rest of us (including yourself) the plugin author is doing this for free and on his own time.
Thank you, Jan.
Delete my post I really don’t care.
I am being polite. He refused to help. Gave a generic answer that a 3 year old can give. He did not state he offered any type of paid support when I posted asking for help. All he did was close the ticket. Why offer support months later when I rate the plugin WHEN he ask for reviews after upgrading?
So… here’s the thing. That plugin (like many other ones) gets a lot of support requests.

You posted one support request, the author replied, and it looked like you gave up after replying back once.

That’s fine and if you want to leave a negative review you can do that. I’m just asking you to keep it civil is all. Yes that colorful metaphor wasn’t bad at all, I just want to keep it at that.
If you wanted support you may want to consider providing technical details if you have them. If you don’t have that details then it’s not hard to walk you through how to provide that.
