• Hello Everyone,

I want to customize my menu in a way either by page or by categories. For instance if you click on “Entertainment” when that page is shown, one will find the sub menu on (ie Music, movies, Events etc) it instead of the main one. Is there a plugin or some codes I can use to achieve this? Thank you so much for your help.

    I am still new to wordpress,more like a level 4 out of 10 🙂

PS: Oxygen is set as the theme

  • Do you mean you want a drop-down menu? If that’s what you’re looking for, you don’t need a plugin or codes. All you have to do is drag and drop where you want your menu items.

    1. Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus.
    2. Click “Create New Menu” (if you haven’t created one already).
    3. Type in your menu name and click the “Create Menu” button.
    4. Check the pages, links, and categories you want to include in your menu and then click “Add to Menu.”
    5. You can drag and drop the items in the order you want them to appear. If you want one item to drop down into another, then put it under the category you want it and move it to the right. A shadow box should appear, showing you that it is now a submenu of that menu item.
    6. Click “Save Menu.”

    Does that help?
