  • Same problem. I have one blog where they work fine but another and they can’t be seen… I think they appaer behind the site background.

That’s probably z-index problem….the plugin seems to be using inline css..so if you go to plugins folder and into xmas lights folder and open the xmas-lights.php and add z-index:99999 or keep trying values it will show up.
Note: When you change css the results might not be visible immediately on the same browser use different browser to view results and also hold down shift as u click refresh on the browser to clear cache

Great thanks, I’ll try that. Do I put that inside the script tags?

Yes inside script tags…it can come after the last css element or wherever you want it

Tried it but to no avail, also changed to position:relative, still nothing

Odd as it works fine on my other blog.

I tried a different lights plugin but that’s the same… must be an issue with the theme.

Ah, yes they are working but they are at the bottom of the page!

Well, uninstalled plug-in, re-installed and added z-index:99999 again and voila, all Christmassy…thanks pacquills, much appreciated.

You welcome MhK.. mark as resolved
