Add menu items to primary nav bar without we disregarding them

Hi everyone

I am not a coder, programmer or developer, so I have no clue how to change the coding, but every time I add a menu item to my main nav bar under Appearance/menus and then hit save, wordpress doesn’t add the menu item.

Is there a way to override this? My site is http://www.motherhooddiaries.com.
