I'd like to change from Joomla to make maintenance easier. However I don't find any useful information on maintaining a multilingual site; I found 1 useful plugin (Qtranslator) but it doesn't work for 2.5.
Is there any easy way to maintain a website with multilingual interface and corresponding content. The users should be able to pick the language. Using machine translation is not an option.
I have the same question. I use WordPress as my website and want to have it in three languages which the visitors can choose (buttons, flags?) The Sidebar titles are not so important. But the menu bar and the page contents should be in the three languages. I will provide the content in the three languages and don't want automatic translation.
Is is possible to somehow copy the complete theme/layout/content and upload as sub-domain1 and sub-domain2 and then translate the page names and content manually?
That would be really wonderful!
If not, does anybody know of an alternative way of doing this?
Any sample WordPress websites?
Thanks a lot in advance!
