After creating a gallery how can I go back and edit it?

As with every shortcode, all the information is encoded in the shortcode itself and currently there is no mechanism which loads a given shortcode into the editor. However you can add and remove the images in the shortcode directly, just add or remove the corresponding image-ids in the shortcode. You cannot set a custom link to images in a gallery in the current version, but see this workaround.
