pigsound, it doesn’t appear that the Category Colors plugin is active. Can you share a screenshot of the Category Colors Settings page?

Can you set to theme TwentyTwelve and deactivate the Agenda View plugin. Let me know so I can look at the site. Can you also activate the month view in addition to the list view?
Also, you will want to check ‘Transparent’ for the Border Color for both of those categories and you’ll probably want to uncheck ‘Custom Legend CSS’
What are your setting in the Settings > Display tab?

i set everything as you told me to; with theme “twentytwelve” activated, in month view the category colors appear to be visible. but not in list view.
the settings in the display tab are here for you to see.
It doesn’t seem as if Category Colors is active. Please confirm this. Also, I can’t get to the month view. It seems there’s still a lot of the site that isn’t using the same theme, strange.
the plugin Category Colors has definitely been activated. and please try again to get to the month view – it should work now.
OK, now I see colors. Looks normal on the month but everything colored on the list view. Strange. I’m on call today so I won’t have a lot of free time. More time tomorrow.
Have you altered this plugin in any way? It looks as if there’s a bit of extra code added to the CSS that’s coloring your entire event in the list view. Please re-install this plugin and let me know.
Also, I’ve been working on colorizing the Agenda View plugin. 😉
After we make sure the colorizing is working correctly we can turn on your theme and see what we’ve got.
hi, well yes… i found a forum entry where you adviced somebody to add some file on github to achieve calendar entries with fully colored background.
anyway, i deinstalled the plugin and reinstalled and activated it now.
Everything looks like it’s supposed to look. Activate your theme and let’s see what happens.
You are free to use any modifications to the plugin you choose, it’s just harder to debug.
ok, i have activated my theme. in list view and in the widget, the category colors are not visible. is there a possibility to achieve this?
