Hello Danny, and thanks for your great plugin !
I don’t see the benefit to re-hide the box, since the goal is that the visitor see it anyway.
Maybe as an option ?
I think it’d be a great idea. One of the reasons I use this plugin is because I like the unobtrusiveness of a scroll-triggered box versus a popup or lightbox. For me, the goal of the box is to engage the reader at the moment s/he finishes reading a post or page. If s/he chooses to scroll back up, I’d rather the box not follow him/her as there are other calls to action elsewhere on the page.
Thanks for your input both!
Will probably turn it into an option as the opinions are quite diversified.
That sounds great. Thanks for your work on this plugin.
this would be a great addition, but there is one thing which is more important at the moment.
responsive design. there should be an option not to show the box (or at least have it not overlap existing content) when the windows is small or the visitor is viewing the page on a mobile device.
@veritasveritum – right now, if you set a box width in the box settings it will automatically be hidden for devices (or screens) where it doesn’t fit. I might add some more options for different devices but please open a separate support topic for that so others can chime in. Thanks!
I vote for re-hiding the box when the visitor scrolls back up.
Thanks all, it’s on the list! Will have more time after finishing this Uni semester next week… =/
Looking forward to re-hide option and thank you!
Looking forward for the auto hide on scrolling up again option. That would be awesome. Thanks Danny for the wonderful plugin.
Should be available next week all! 🙂 Will have some dev-time this weekend.
May the force be with you 🙂 Eagerly waiting for it.
Hehe, I used the force. Feature is added in version 1.1.9.
Hope that helps all!
