Top menu options (dashboard) fail to show on Android mobile devices

When testing the 3.8 dashboard on my Samsung Galaxy S3 phone running Android 4.3, the menu options at the top of the screen fail to display. They’re clickable, but the images representing them are not shown.

This is a vanilla installation of the 3.8-beta1 release.

I am also running on 240 DPI if that helps.

Everything does display fine on my computer when the screen size is changed.
