Could you please send me a link where I can reproduce the problem?
Most likely the performance issues are not caused by my plugin since but by other plugins that processes the comments on the server side (like spam protection plugins).

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce the problem. I posted two test comments and it only took only a few seconds…
so maybe there is a problem with my network connection and my core site.

Yes, comment submitting is rather slow. Somehow slower that it used to be tough I might be wrong and there is some problem with my site.
Most comments on my site are added between 5 to 10 seconds but sometimes they really get stuck. Example:

Usally it’s:

If you want to test it, you can spam comment my site (I have moderation enabled).
I do not think, that the perfomance issues is caused by my plugin. Please try to disable the plugin test if it need less time to post a comment.
