Filter on post edit screen

    The url is the permalink for the post. If you want to setup a filter use the plugin filter post type. If you could change the url on a post then it would not do anything since it wouldn’t match the permalink.

    Thanks, Jeff. I understand now about the permalink.

    What I don’t understand what you mean “use the plugin filter post type”. How would it relate to the url example above?

    Using a plugin filter you can set the url it will be matched on. So it can be whatever you want it to be.
