First, this hosting doesn’t allow htaccess unless I pay. Then, I had to use the Disable Canonical URL Redirection plugin because I couldn’t access the main page of the site. Now I’m using (practically must) WP without www. subdomain, but I would like that “feature” back =P

If I activate your plugin, www. will work, but I can’t put the full address in the General Options… ( ./wp-admin/options-general.php ), so while the site works with www., the whole site has no www. links.

    Any comment appreciated.

  • Not sure I understand your problem completely.
    – Does my plugin block you from using General Options ?
    – Does my plugin redirect non-www links to www, and all links on the page are shown as non-www ?

My plugin doesn’t control how WP inserts links into the pages, it only looks at the entered URL and compares it with the official WP URL (And take action accordingly).
    – If using certain versions of IIS then it might not always be able to see any difference between the entered URL and the official WP URL.

How did you configure the URI options i WP ?
    – WordPress address (URI)
    – Blog address (URI)
