@criana,
Looking at your screen shot that seems to be being added by a plugin but is missing styling elements to it doesn’t look too great. Are you using any plugins that add sharing or dropbox to the bottom of each post?

@mattyrob,
Thanks for the reply. We’re running a very slim site. There’s only 4 plugins active.
- Private Only
- Subscribe2
- SyntaxHighlighter Evolved
- WP User Frontend
Here is a screen shot from our Media library. Those are the images it’s pulling into the email notifications, but I’m not sure why since they aren’t associated with the post.
Thanks for your assistance.
@criana,
Are you seeing these same images in the preview emails that can be sent from Subscribe2->Settings in the Template tab?
If you can see them there we can quickly test for a plugin conflict. Try disabling the 3 other plugins and send the preview email again, if the images are now missing then they are most likely being inserted by another plugin. I doubt it’s the Syntax Highlighter but it could be one of the other two.
If the images are still present with the other plugins disabled it could still be a theme issue so try one of the core WordPress themes.

@mattyrob – That’s the weird thing when I do the “Test” send with the 4 variations, these images never show and the emails look great.
I’ll try swapping out themes and see if it’s still an issue.
@criana,
That’s very strange as the preview emails use the same Subscribe2 functions as the live notifications so they should be almost identical. Let me know what happens when you change theme.
