Check if you have too many revisions and delete them.

Also, see the excessive data created by plugins (often unnecessarily) and either delete them or do not use such plugins at all.
Hi Krishna, i optimize the db with wp-optimize plugin. Post revisions are disabled in the wp-config. I also run a sql query to clean sometimes:
DELETE FROM 'wp_options' WHERE 'option_name' LIKE ('%_transient_%')
Wordpress is running about 21000 posts and the wp_post table is 140mb.
Uninstalling a plugin will clean all its records?
Thank you.
If you have about 21000 posts, the wp_posts table can be 140mb or even more.
Uninstalling a plugin will clean all its records?
Not necessarily. Some plugins may have built-in options to delete whatver is created by them, while some others may leave those unwanted garbage in the database.
