• This thread, closed about a year ago, deals with the “Invisible Super Admin” issue. However, it looks like no resolution actually happened and I just experienced the same issue. The solution given in the thread don’t work. I feel the issue is created by a plugin called “User Role Editor“. Any thoughts or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

    FYI, posts are auto-closed after a year because people just spam ’em, and they tend to be woefully out of date.

    Why do you think it’s User Role Editor causing it?

    Thanks for your response! As soon as I deactivated the plugin I was able to edit a user account. However, the Super Admin reference remained. I cancelled my hosting account until I learn more about this “anomaly”.

    Well… now that you deactivated and killed your site, you cant do any more debugging. Unless you want to set up a localhost install and try to duplicate.
