Aligning Logo in Masthead

    I am new to WordPress and selected your theme to build a website. I am trying the align a logo and tagline in the masthead at the top so they are centered. It appears you need to go into the CSS to do that. Can you guide me on how to realign these 2 elements.

    I have a similar question: When I upload my custom logo to the site title header section, it does not show up on my site. I would like the logo to show up on the left, where the site title and tagline would otherwise be.
