    Hey,

I got some problems with the text editor in wordpress 2.5. When I’m writing my page in the visual editor and I switch to the html editor, it whipes out all my text, forcing me to start over again. This did not happen in 2.3.3!
In addition, the visual editor seems to be too big and overlaps the save and publish button (screenshot: http://www.rbaoreven.nl/wp-content/uploads/wordpress.JPG).
So, I cant use the visual editor since switching makes me lose everything.
    Help would be appreciated!

    Regards

I am having the same problem. I have already posted 3 times to get help and no one has responded. Sorry for your trouble, but glad to know I am not the only one.

Mine looks a little different http://www.shrydvd.com/posttab.png

Can someone please reply to this?

I have fixed mine. A moderator named moshu told me what to do.
Deactivate all plug-ins and then go back and reactivate them one by one to see what causes it. For me it was WP Super Edit.
Also, make sure you refresh the page when you go to “Write” after each change in the plug-ins.
    I hope this helps.
    Sincerely,
    David Collins

    Okay, thanks, problem solved.
Deactivating all plugins (with the TinyMCE Advanced plugin) and reactivating all (including the TinyMCE Advanced plugin), solved the problem.
By my understandings, this is weirdness, but as long as it works, I don’t really care.

    Regards
