Does mail list count go to WP users count? | WordPress.org

Simple question, does the mail list plug in count (the amount of people who entered their email into this plug-in) go towards the wordpress user subscriber count? Or do i have 2 different lists now?

Hello, the mail list goes in a different list stored in a database created by this plugin.
