"can't establish a connection" message on HTTPS enabled

    I’m trying to make certain pages with forms (containing sensitive information) secure with the HTTPS plugin. As per the installation instructions, I have “Force SSL Exclusively” checked in the settings, but that is the only setting I have edited/changed. The url is:

    https://fburgspca.org/test-https/

    We do not have an SSL certificate for this site. Is one needed (in conjunction with this plugin?)

    Any help you could provide toward getting these pages secure would be appreciated. – Thanks.
