G’day popsantiago,
Looks to me like your theme doesn’t call wp_head()
and wp_footer()
, which tell WordPress to output stylesheets and scripts in the header and footer of the page.
cheers,
Ross
Hey Webaware,
Thanks for your reply.
I did a fresh install my theme + your plugin => Map Works.
The différence between prod and dev is the Cache plugin and the new add-on of 1and1 Cloudfare possibility.
Do you think that can be the problem ?
Thanks.
Yes, probably the caching plugin. Some (W3 Total Cache for example) have some pretty aggressive settings that mess things up. You might be able to turn it back on if you pare back the aggressive settings a bit, basically anything that takes over script and stylesheet management.
cheers,
Ross
Ok,
I hate work with cache…
The issue seems to be : stop the Rocket Loader of the CDN 1and by CloudFlare.
If i need to not minify a specific file for Fleximap, which on is it ?
Thanks
I don’t know, have not played with that at all.
cheers,
Ross
G’day @popsantiago,
I just wrote a small plugin that fixes the problem with Rocketscript:
https://gist.github.com/webaware/8949605
It actually tells Rocketscript to leave the Flexible Maps scripts alone, so they don’t get processed by Rocketscript, but at least it allows you to turn Rocketscript on again and get its benefits for other scripts.
cheers,
Ross
Hi Webaware,
My maps also suddenly stopped working.
I tried deactivating my cache (Quick Cache) and my CDN (Cloudflare) but no luck, So I reactivated them.
I copied your plugin script above, created a new folder in the plugin directory and pasted it, but still no maps. Any ideas?

Thx!

@buzzybuzzy please start a new topic, don’t hijack another topic (especially one that’s already resolved!)
And please, provide a link to a page that should have a map on it, I’m not going hunting through your website! 🙂
cheers,
Ross
