    Hi, in the last couple of days I am having problems when uploading photos to the media. Rather than the image a ? appears. When trying to edit the photo I can see the image, but when attaching it to a file it again appears as a ?. Any ideas how to resolve this?

    So I am still having problems with photos. My site (www.justbeachild.com) is full of photos and not having the facility to update new ones is a real drawback. Can someone suggest a solution? Please?

    Have you tried deactivating your plugin and switching to a default theme (temporarily) to see if any are causing this issue?

    Hi, thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, deactivating the plugins didn’t work. Changing the theme also didn’t work. I tried both at the same time, of course, and none worked. Anything else you can suggest? Thanks.

    Where is your site hosted? Have you updated to 3.8 (since you posted this before 3.8 was out it says 3.7.1)?

    The site is hosted with 123-reg, all plugins and wordpress is updated to the latest updates (operating 3.8 version). I have tried but failed to look at the permissions – I am really sorry, but this site (www.justbeachild.com) is the very first one I did and I have absolutely no idea what I am doing.

    When I upload a photo this is what I get – http://justbeachild.com/wp-admin/upload.php – a question mark in a blue box in the media folder

    but when I go to edit the image, this is what I see – first: http://justbeachild.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1628&action=edit – a question mark; second: http://justbeachild.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1628&action=edit (I am not sure if you will be able to open the links, but thought it worth a try) – the uploaded photo

    when I attach the image to a post/page all I see is a question mark again.

    I’ve seen a bunch of people with image issues on the same host – ask them about this.
