Customizr Theme: "Translate" Featured Pages

Hi again!

I’m using the customizr theme – so far everything works good, except the Featured Pages. I guess it has nothing to do with Polylang itself, but with the the integration of the featured pages(?). I’m not a php expert at all, just reading some code here and there, trying to understand what happens under the hood. Can someone give me a hint, how this ‘Featured-Pages-Feature’ can be usable with Polylang?
Some day I want to have this feature enabled, pointing to some ‘cornerstone’ posts (which is not possible by now anyway, because this feature only works with pages at the moment) which change in language when hitting the languageselector…
