Featured image not showing in Facebook Post

I am trying to use “Feather” social media plug in on the Cazuela Theme. In order to get the Pinterest link to work, you have to insert a “featured image”. If you put the same image in the post and featured image, it shows up twice. If you take the image out of the post (leaving the featured image), it doesn’t show up in facebook link.
