  • If that happened to me, I would suspect that a plugin or the theme had gone bad. I would access the site files using FTP or the file manager tool in my web hosting control panel, temporarily rename the plugins and themes (except for TwentyThirteen) so that WordPress cannot find them, and then try to log in.

I suppose this procedure is described more fully in the Codex somewhere…but just at the moment I can’t seem to find it.

Thanks. I renamed my plugins folder and themes folder and tried to log on and i get this message:
“Error establishing a database connection. This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at mysql.kristinarolfes.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
•Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
•Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
•Are you sure that the database server is running?”

I did change the password for my host this morning. i don’t know how to correct the username and pw infor in my wp-config.php file. i don’t even see that file.
    thank you

Did you ever get your error message solved?
Fatal error: Call to a member function reset_postdata() on a non-object in /home/krolfes1/kristinarolfes.com/wp-includes/query.php on line 118

I am getting the same message after updating to a new version of Word Press.

Fatal error: Call to a member function reset_postdata() on a non-object in /home2/fcb/public_html/wp-includes/query.php on line 118

If you have solved it perhaps you can let me know how so I can as well.
