    It depends on where you plan to publish and what sort of review you are expecting, and from whom.

    Ideally, review from the module author.
    Directions on contact form 7 website indicate communications involving modules go to the forum. (Thusly)
    Also, ideally, following review of the modification, the author elects to release it in an upcoming update of the module.
    I prefer not to just post-a-hack when there is the likely prospect of it being included in an official update.
    Perhaps the author can PM me so I can relate the modification details directly?

    I would think such directions intended you to use the plugin’s forum, not this forum, though the author may see this thread as well due to the tagging.

    Thanks for the insight, and I originally did post to that forum, but then noticed the introduction of the “Hacks” sub-forum, which deals with code mods (for plugins) so I re-posted to that (which is here)
    So I’ll just let each of these lay until they’re recognized, then hopefully this will make it into an upcoming release.
