   When I try to upgrade a plugin using the Upgrade Automatically choice I get the following:

   Upgrade Plugin

   Downloading update from http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/xxxxxxx.zip (not a real link!!!)

   Unpacking the update

   Removing the old version of the plugin

   Could not remove the old plugin

   So far I've tried to use this option a couple of times and then ended up upgrading the plugin the old-fashion way. Is there a way to get this to work?

   do you also have the WPAU plugin? if so, you need to upgrade that plugin, it conflicts with the new built in plugin upgrader.

   I have Automatic Plugin Update Checker which has been deactivated but I don't have anything that I think could be WPAU.

   was this issue ever resolved? I am having the same issue and I do use the WPAU plugin. I have tried removing the plugin and the problem still exsist.
