Auto update from 3.7 not working

We have two sites, one standard, one multisite on 3.7 to see if auto updates will work.

More than a week after 3.7.1 came out, they have still not updated, although we have the update notice.

I have installed the background update checker plug in on each and it says everything is set up correctly to update, yet no updates.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Is it being addresed? Does the core team even know that auto updates are apparently not happening?
