   wow what a joke this v2.5 is.

   after installation (which went ok) i tried to post.

   ok i can add a basic text narrative, however if i try and go to the html button then it does not switch views, i am stuck in Visual View.

   the page gives an error at line 16 character 47 with an expected }

   then if i try and add an image by clicking on the image button, i insert the url and then click 'insert into post' and the java screen goes white and nothing happens.

   this version 2.5 is like an early edition of windows - full of bugs!!!

   thanks for such a terrible update !!!

   Try to deactive your plugin. i have the same problem. but resolved when i deactivated some plugins.

   i have the same problem since upgraded to 2.5.1..
   Deactivat all plugins,still the same.
   Who can help ? please!

   I'm still not seeing anyone fixing this. Furthermore, deactivating plug-ins shouldn't even be an answer. Whats the point of deactivating them? Yea, so your HTML will work but uh A) you probably need that plug in and B) unplugging a plug in every time you make a post?

   Defeats the purpose of a fully functioning blog.

   This is from 9 months ago and I am having the problem now, so I am not making a new thread sorry. Someone help. I NEED it to go to html.

   Not the answer? Yes, it is.

   It's basic troubleshooting 101. You need to find which plugin and/or theme is causing the your problem. Once you identify that, then you can make the decision to either fix or stop using the plugin.

   It's your call; if you don't want to identify, fix, or remove the problem don't expect other people to work around it for you.
