    Hi Tobias,

I have uploaded 80 tables to my site and I now need to add them all to posts.

In the list of tables I can’t see the short codes, I need to click to view. I would like to see the short code in the lists of tables. I would then print out all 4 pages of the tables and I would be able to tick off the tables I had done and see the short code in the print out.

    Best wishes

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

You don’t actually have to see the Shortcodes here, as those are all the same — except for the table ID, which you do see next to the table name on the “All tables” list.
So, you can simply print that list, and will have the table ID next to the names.
Then, just create your pages and add the Shortcode like

    [table id=<ID>/]

where <ID> is the ID of the table that you are adding right then.

Another possibility would be to simply use the “Table” button in the toolbar of the editor textbox. After you click that, you’ll see a list of tables, where you can select the desired one and the necessary Shortcode will be added for you — without even having to type the Shortcode.

    Regards,
    Tobias
