Endless messages for updating 3.7.1

    I keep getting the message “WordPress 3.7.1 is available! Please update now.” and also “No Update Required – Your WordPress database is already up-to-date!”. Also, the number of Plugins requiring update varies between 0 and 7, changing each time I load the Dashboard.

    I have updated to 3.7.1 unnecessarily a number of times and still keep getting the same messages.

    Is anyone else having the same problems?
