Add a date picker to wp e-commerce product

Is it possible to add a date picker calendar to a wp e-commerce product?
The website is for a tour company and it would be good if the buyer could select a date for tour.

I read somewhere you could use variations but this would mean that there would be 3 fields for day, month, year and I was wanting to have it simplified. I’ve also seen an order date plugin which works on the check out page but was wanting the date to be selected on the product page before it goes to checkout page.

Would appreciate any help.
