WPEC remove shipping calculator

We have an online store that we would like to remove the “calculate shipping” option however there is no way to add a drop-down for Country, and State to the checkout page. Could you please let me know if it is possible to have the checkout form without having the fill in or use the calculate shipping option since the refresh takes awhile to load and is getting confusing for customers.
