Use of query_posts function

    Hi Nick.
    I use your plugin for a few sites and I thank you for sharing it.
    I noticed you use the query_posts function to get the posts. May I ask why and is this not bad WP coding to use? I have read and heard many places that one should preferably not use query_posts, but rather use WP_Query or get_posts instead.

    Is there a specific reason for using query_posts?
