Jazzing up static front page

    Hi, I wouldl ike to liven up my static front page.

    I’m thinking animatio of header or spinning of the eye etc or may a video which plays automatically. basically I want to make it more appealing.

    I have no experience in this area so need simple tips if there are any. I am using a child theme in twenty eleven.
