Contributors can’t upload images ? WP 2.5

    In WP 2.5, users with Contributor status can not upload images. This error is displayed: “You do not have permission to upload files.”

    How to allow Contributors to upload images?

    Also, ImageManager doesn’t seem to work with 2.5. A window does pop up when pressing the button but the Dashboard gets loaded in it instead if ImageManager. Anyone else having that issue?

    You have to be at least an Author to upload files by default.

    To change this, look around for the Role Manager plugin.

    I’m having the same problem: the dashboard is loaded inside ImageManager popup window… Any ideas?

    This is what I found today on the author website…

    ImageManager supporting WordPress 2.5 will hopefully be ready by the end of next week.
